Interested in seeing how football referees and refereeing is perceived around the world?

               ‘The Referees’, a documentary from Belgium, will be shown during the Documentary Media Association’s (DOXA) film festival in Vancouver. Yves Hinant’s new documentary, ‘The Referees’, takes a look at what it takes to be a professional referee in countries where football is often perceived as a religion, and draws insight into the numerous grievances of the professional referee.
