The association wishes to announce that members Alain Ruch and Marco Arruda have been appointed to National Referee and National Assistant Referee status. They will be required to attend and pass the National Camp before being put on the Active List. The National Camp is slated for late March/early April in Toronto.

At the recent Fall Council Meeting of the association on Saturday, December 5^th, the membership passed a motion agreeing, in principle, to the draft Referee Association Business Plan that was officially presented at the meeting. Furthermore, the Plan, with an intended 3 year lifespan, is now to be discussed within Area Association executives, and RA members under their care, for further fine tuning. Areas agreed to finalize the Plan in early 2010 via conference call.

The members in Kamloops have elected Mario Salituro to be their new President for the upcoming year. This occurred at the recent. Annual General Meeting of the Kamloops Soccer Referees Association. With the exception of Secretary Neil Farber, a new slate was elected.
